My name is Fred Linch and I have been teaching for the Osher Life Long Learning program in both film and jazz for the last 5 or 6 years. I have been asked to put a Monday evening October and November film series (except for Oct. 19) to pay tribute to the languages you are studying. I am providing a link for each film to provide more awareness of the film. Reviewing these optional notes should broaden your understanding of the thinking behind each film director and enhance your understanding of the film. Film is an art form that can expand your language work and increase your knowledge of the country you are exploring. You may want to bring friends to share the viewing experience and possibly join the Sun City Grand Language Club. This film series is open to everyone without charge, so join us and bring a friend.
The series will be held in the Osher Lifelong Learning classroom
in the Chaparral Center Building at 6:00PM. The films will be subtitled.
